Star-shl provides support services to healthcare professionals in primary care, such as general practitioners and midwives. Healthcare providers can rely on the organisation for laboratory diagnostics and practice support.

“In the beginning, we were looking for an accessible and efficient time registration system,” says Mireille Machielsen, HR Advisor at star-shl. “Employees needed to be able to account for their hours, request leave and view their balances. It was also important that managers could easily approve weekly timesheets.”

The organisation chose Timetell because of its clear structure and the ability to integrate with Prins. In the meantime, integrations have also been realised with Exact Synergy and Exact Globe, allowing the system to connect seamlessly with existing processes.

Working together on the right solutions

Star-shl now uses almost all modules within Timetell. The organisation has grown significantly in recent years, partly due to the merger between Star-MDC and SHL-Groep. This merger required several adjustments, such as adding and modifying calculation rules.

“Timetell supported us very well,” Machielsen explains. “We do not have a standard setup, but that is not an issue. The consultants always think along and help find solutions that fit our situation.”

Future expansions

Due to the merger, further configuration of the Declaration Module and the use of the Planning Module were temporarily paused. “Now that we are a larger organisation, we want to thoroughly assess the needs and requirements of each department. Based on that, we will further optimise the modules,” says Machielsen.
