“We had several clear requirements for our new time registration system,” says Ramona Vermeulen, HR Manager at Houweling Group. “It was important that the system integrated well with AFAS and that employees could easily clock in and out and view their hours. In short, the system had to take work off our hands.”

Smooth implementation

During the orientation phase, Timetell quickly emerged as the right partner, partly due to the close integration with AFAS. “Purchasing this type of software is a big step,” Vermeulen explains. “The discussions at the start were therefore essential.

After speaking with our account manager and consultant at Timetell, and with a representative from AFAS, the decision was made quickly. The implementation then went very smoothly. Thanks to the strong cooperation between Timetell and AFAS, we were fully supported and kept well informed of the progress.”

Clocking and the app in daily use

Employees at Houweling Group now clock in and out on physical devices and can easily check their registered hours via the app. “Managers approve the hours in the Timetell online environment,” Vermeulen adds. “This saves HR a lot of work, because everyone can now view and verify their own data. Data processing is largely automated and, through the AFAS integration, all information is correctly transferred into our ERP system.”

Vermeulen looks back with satisfaction: “Timetell does exactly what we need in terms of time registration, nothing more and nothing less. It is great that we only use the modules that are relevant for us.”

Finally, Vermeulen praises the ease of use: “The day processing screen is excellent. At a glance you have a full overview of all worked hours and you immediately see any deviations. And whenever I have a question, the helpdesk is always available and helps me quickly.”
